I am   a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 30 years experience, licensed to practice in California, providing Telemedicine services.  All services offered via a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform and in person when feasible.

At present my psychiatry practice is dedicated to the care of physicians and other health care professionals.Since clinicians are resilient, they tend to place their own needs last until it becomes unsustainable.Self-care is not selfish. It is necessary to renew your inner spirit and strengthen your resilience.  As a medical practitioner like you, I share your experiences and understand the responsibilities and stresses of practicing medicine. I provide individual consultations where personal and professional issues are addressed in a compassionate manner.

I also facilitate and guide the Listening Room a free  confidential ongoing peer -to- peer support group open to any clinician. It is a place to turn to when you need to reconnect with your peers to discuss the many challenges of practicing medicine in a safe and confidential small group setting. The purpose of the Listening Room is to move away from our culture of blame and silence towards one of sharing and learning form our mistakes.. Online self-help resilience and wellness programs are useful and convenient. But nothing replaces direct human interaction to counteract isolation from others.By receiving this support, you will work with renewed compassion, joy and inspiration.
