Dr Andre'a Watkins MD/MPH

Hello, fellow Colleague. I am Dr Andre'a Watkins a Board Certified Psychiatrist who had been practicing for greater than 15 years. I am a graduate of Spelman College and received both my Doctorate of Medicine and Masters in Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am a trauma trained Psychiatrist who has deep rooted experiences in Psychodyamic Therapy, gaining the CBT award in Residency for my foundational work in uprooting core cognitive beliefs that lead to burnout, chronic stress, and Mental Health Disorders. My practice focuses on holistic healing treating the entire person both physically, mentally, and spiritually. The groundwork of my treatment approach is root cause healing by reducing inflammation through Nutrition and Gut-Health restoration while supporting the individual in neurorestorative practices that lead to healing rather than symptom management. I see patients after hours via telehealth in GA, VA, DC, and MD.
