As physicians, we often are expected to perform under enormous pressures without wavering. But we are human. I understand the serious concerns that physicians face when seeking care. There are often multiple barriers to receiving critical support, prevention, and treatment of stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, grief, and real trauma. It can take immense courage to reach out. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space with individualized treatment options and the convience and flexibility of telehealth.

As a solo-practice psychiatrist, I take your privacy very seriously. I do not hire billers, coders, or administrative staff who would be involved with your personal information. The practice phone is set to "private" on caller ID when I call. My practice, New Directions Psychiatry PLLC, is not part of any large medical group practice, community health, or hospital system where your records may be part of a large system.

I offer individualized psychotherapy and medication treatment options for conditions including depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma recovery, PTSD, and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD). I live in Western Kentucky and offer Telepsychiatry services across the state of Kentucky. There is no public parking lot or waiting room. You don't have to seek care at your place of employment or in a small community where privacy can be challenging. Because this practice does not bill insurance, you have more control over your personal information.

I perform all medication management and therapy services directly. I do not employ therapists, counselors, or mid-level providers.

Saturday and weekly therapy appointments are an option.
